Vertical Blade Fencing

Modern frontages, screens and gates with clean lines and precise spacing.

Overview

Vertical Blade Fencing Done Properly

Blade fencing is what most new builds use out the front: powder-coated aluminium or steel blades on a concealed frame, with the spacing set to balance privacy against airflow and light.

This is a precision job — uneven gaps and out-of-plumb blades are obvious from the footpath. We jig the spacing and set the frames dead level before a single blade goes on.

Vertical Blade Fencing — Common Questions

Aluminium or steel blades?+

Aluminium won't rust and is lighter for large gates. Steel is stronger and better for security applications. We'll recommend based on span, height and exposure.

How much privacy do blades give?+

It depends on the gap. A 15–20mm gap gives near-full privacy from the street while keeping airflow; wider gaps are more open and architectural.
